What are the common casting methods for bronze casting and its advantages and disadvantages?

1. General sand mold casting:
The basic raw materials for making sand mold are casting sand and molding sand binder. Sand casting is the most commonly used silica sand, the high temperature performance of silica sand cannot satisfy the requirements while using zircon sand, chromite sand, corundum sand special sand. The sand binder is the most widely used clay, also can be used in a variety of ganxingyou or half ganxingyou, water soluble silicate or phosphate and various kinds of synthetic resin sand binder.
2. Mold casting:
When the wax is used as a sample, the molten casting is also called "lost wax casting". Investment casting is usually made in the shape of fusible materials, in the appearance of refractory material is coated on the surface of several layers made of shell, the appearance of melt discharge type shell, resulting in no parting surface mold, the casting solution after calcination can fill sand casting. Because of the wide use of wax material to make, it is often called "dewaxing casting".
3. Die-casting:
The principle of the die casting process is to press the metal liquid into a precise metal mold cavity with high pressure, and the metal liquid is cooled and solidified under the action of pressure to form a casting.
4. Metal casting:
It is also known as die casting, the liquid metal is poured into a mold, in order to get the casting a casting method. The mold is made of metal and can be repeatedly used many times (hundreds of times to thousands of times), also called permanent casting.
5. Low pressure casting:
Low pressure casting is a method of filling the mold under the effect of lower pressure (0.02 ~ 0.06MPa) and crystallizing the liquid metal under pressure to form the casting.
6. Centrifugal casting:
Centrifugal casting is a casting method to pour metal liquid into a rotating mold and fill the mold under the action of centrifugal force and solidify.
